Write the Toast
A guided journaling session for the days before you have to give a toast or speech for someone you care about, when you keep starting and stopping. These prompts help you find the real story you want to tell, cut what doesn't serve it, and leave with a toast you can actually stand up and deliver.
You write in your own journal. Journal Party brings the guided prompts, the timer, and the sound.

Meet your journal's new best friend.
Write the Toast is for anyone who has to stand up and speak for someone they care about, and keeps starting and stopping because the stakes feel personal. Across six prompts, you move from occasion to memory to the actual words you'll say, so you leave with a toast you can deliver instead of a pile of false starts. Each prompt is paired with a session timer and ambient audio, so you can sit down with your own journal and work through the shape of the toast on paper, by hand. You'll name the person and the occasion, find the memory that carries the story, say it out loud before you commit it to the page, cut what doesn't serve it, and write your opening and closing lines, one prompt at a time, no typing or app entries involved. This is a space to think clearly before a moment that matters, not a substitute for your own judgment about the person you're honoring. Open your journal, pick a quiet ten minutes, and start with the first prompt.
